Day 1: HANOI ARRIVAL
Arrive in Hanoi and welcome at the airport by your guide. Transfer to the city. Enjoy puppet show. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: HANOI CITY FULLDAY
City tour: outside the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh City, the former residence on stilts Uncle Ho and the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature. Continue to visit the city with the Museum of Ethnology. Stroll along the lake of Restored Sword. The Temple of Jade, in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake. Culinary discovery, "Chaca" fish.
Day 3: HANOI – HOA LU
Tranfser to Ninh Binh. Visit Hoa Lu, nicknamed "the Halong Bay on land", where you will be introduced to the finish, in the preparation of goat pellets, the local specialty. You will visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, made famous by the film "Indochine". Boat trip in the middle of rice fields, natural caves and limestone peaks. Bike ride toTam Coc, Bich Dong. Overnight at Ninh Binh.
Day 4: HOA LU – HALONG BAY – OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE
The tour guide and driver will get back and pick you up for the morning drive overland to Halong City, your entry point to the Bay of the World Heritage by UNESCO. Thousands of islands rise dramatically from the waters of Halong Bay and, to further their beauty, intricate cave systems naturally exist throughout these limestone karst formations. The traditional styled junk will cruise in between the towering islands, visit a limestone cave in the afternoon and do some kayaking and swimming (depending on the weather) Your accommodation tonight is a truly special experience – sleeping on a boat surrounded by high limestone karsts. Overnight on board.
Day 5: HALONG – HANOI – HUE
Traditional junk cruise through the fabulous Halong Bay, through the famous karst sugar loaf. Brunch on boat. Stopover to discover the natural caves. Disembarkation. Stop in the village of Dong Trieu ceramic and visit a factory. Transfer to Hanoi Railway Station and overnight on board the air-conditioned sleeper train (compartment 4 people) to Hue (11h train).
Day 6: HUE
Morning arrival in Hue Railway Station. The imperial city of Hue is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discovery of Crafts conical hats and incense sticks. Artists exhibition of works Ba Diem Phung Thi Dang and. Cruise on the Perfume River to the Pagoda of the Celestial Lady. The tomb of Emperor Tu Duc. Regional specialty: the royal dinner dressed. Overnight in hotel.
Day 7: HUE –DANANG – HOI AN
Visit the Imperial City. Walk in the shady streets to bustling Dong Ba market. Ride rickshaws in the city. Passage Cloud Pass along the coast, beautiful view of the peninsula of Lang Co. Stop at Cham museum housing, one of the finest collections of Cham sculptures in the world. Culinary discovery: the 'Banh Vac,' '"white rose", white rice dough stuffed with meat and shrimp. Overnight in hotel
Day 8: HOI AN – DANANG – HO CHI MINH
Port city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk in the old town of Hoi An, among ancient houses and old Chinese temples, Japanese covered bridge and the town hall Phuoc Kien. Introduction to the preparation of Vietnamese dishes and tasting. Discovery of Crafts lanterns and fi latures silk. In the evening flight to Ho Chi Minh (1h), the economic capital of Vietnam. Dinner.
Day 9: HO CHI MINH – BEN TRE – HO CHI MINH
Departure to the Mekong Delta. Cruising on the canals to discover the daily activities of its inhabitants. Attend the manufacture of bricks and coconut fiber. Continue to the coves of Cai Nhon and Son Thanh where local families have specialized in the manufacture of mats. Tasting of seasonal fruit. Bike ride through rice fields and vegetable crops. Lunch with the locals. Rowing boat trip in the creek Cai Coi. Back to Sai Gon in the afternoon. Overnight in hotel
Day 10: HO CHI MINH
In the morning, we visit Chinatown Cholon and Binh Tay Market, the pagoda of the Jade Emperor. Visit to the central station, a masterpiece of colonial architecture signed Gustave Eiffel.
In the afternoon, we continue to visit Notre Dame Cathedral, City Hall, the former colonial neighborhoods outside the Reunification Palace. Overnight in hotel
