Itinerary details:
Day 1: HANOI ARRIVAL (-/-/D)
Arrive in Hanoi. Pick up at the airport by your guide, transfer and visit the historical city: the Temple of Literature and Ngoc Son Temple on the Lake of the Restored Sword. Tour by rickshaw through the streets of the bustling old Hanoi. Discovery of the local market and colonial mansions. Musical dinner.
Day 2: HANOI – HOA LU – TAM COC(B/L/-)
Drive to Hoa Lu also called the "terrestrial Halong." Visit the temples of Dinh and Le dynasties. Visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, made famous by the movie "Indochine". Boat trip on Halong Bay on land in the middle of rice fields, natural caves and limestone peaks. Lunch. Bike ride to Bich Dong Pagoda. Overnight in hotel in Tam Coc
Day 3: TAM COC– HALONG (B/L/D)
After breakfast, departure to HalongBay. On arrival around noon, check in a beautiful wooden junk for a cruise enchanting 2 days/ 1 night in Halong Bay.
During this cruise, you can explore this vast chaos of karst mountains, caves, lagoons with all these ghostly shapes that can be seen from far away. It is so nice to feel completely lost and discovering every second new forms of increasingly tormented rocks. In addition, the play of light, clouds and mist creates unexpected atmospheres. It is the same life on the bay with all its fishing boats, whole families who either live in floating houses or aboard simple craft.
In late afternoon, the ship dropped anchor for the night in the bay. It is then possible for you to swim in the emerald sea or kayaking.
The lunch and dinner are served on the junk menu with excellent seafood

Day 4: HALONG – HANOI (B/Brunch/D)
Morning in the bay, this is a special time for meditation and take a morning bath.
The buffet breakfast is served while the junk starts up slowly towards the pier. The return cruise allows you to discover other parts of the bay, including the Heavenly Palace Cave or the Cave of Surprise. Landing at 11:30 and taken the road towards Hanoi through the rice fields of the Red River Delta. On the way, stop at the splendid But Thap pagoda (seventeenth century). Day 5: HANOI – HUE (B/Lunch/-)
In the morning flight to Hue (1h), the former imperial capital. Discovery of the tombs of emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Lunch in local restaurant. Discover local crafts: the conical hat and incense sticks. Exhibition of sculptures and paintings by Le Ba Dang Thi Phung and Diem. Walk to the bustling Dong Ba market. Rest of time is free. Overnight in hotel
Day 6: HUE – DANANG– HOI AN (B/L/-)
Cruise on the Perfume River to the hill where the Pagoda of the Celestial Lady springs are. Discover the Imperial Citadel. Lunch in local restaurant. Passage Cloud Pass, famous for its unique perspective, and visit the museum in Danang which houses the finest collection of Cham sculptures in the world. Possibility to taste "Cao Lau" noodle soup, pork and vegetables. Overnight in hotel
Day 7: HOI AN (B/-/Light Lunch)
The morning is yours for leisure on Cua Dai Beach or doing your own things.
The afternoon walking tour offers you a chance to see how beautiful the Old Quarter of Hoian is. The sites include the Japanese Covered Bridge; Phuoc Kien Assembly; Tan Ky ancient house; Hoi An Culture and History Museum and Quan Cong temple. Evening is free on your own to chill out at a riverside café or enjoy shopping with tailor-made clothing, shoes and lanterns.
Day 8: HOI AN – DANANG – HO CHI MINH (B/-/D)
In the morning flight to Ho Chi Minh (1h), the economic capital of Vietnam. City tour: the old colonial quarters, the Central Post Office, Reunification Palace and Notre Dame Cathedral.
Discovery of Chinatown Cholon, the local Binh Tay Market, Thien Hau Temple and pagoda Giac Lam. Visit the museum of the war. Discovery of crafts: making lacquer. Dinner cruise on the Saigon River. Overnight in hotel
Day 9: HO CHI MINH – CAI BE – MEKONG LODGE (B/L/D)
Depart from Ho Chi Minh city to Cai Be: approx. 120km
Arrive Cai Be, greeting at Cai Be harbor and boat trip transfer to Mekong Lodge.
Check-in bungalows.
Daily lunch is served in the nice restaurant with the Vietnamese day-menu.
From 15h00pm: afternoon cycling tour to Tân Phong island, go to one of the orchard: approx. 10km along village paths, in passing 3 wooden ferries, in about 2 hours.
Cooking class in the evening & dinner in restaurant.
Riverside Bar are open until mid-night
Day 10: CAI BE – HO CHI MINH (B/L/-)
07:00 – 08:00am: breakfast in the restaurant.
From 08:00am: boat trip to the bustling floating market, visit handicraft villages, and Cai Be market on land, then transferred to Mekong Lodge.
11:30am: clear bill and check out.
12:00pm: boat trip transfer to Cai Be harbor
