Detailed program:
Day 1: PHNOM PENH - SIGHTSEEING
Upon arrival Phnom Penh International Airport, meet and transfer to hotel for check in. Afternoon, start visit the Royal Palace which was built in 1866, National Museum and Wat Phnom. Lastly, enjoy with sunset cruise on Mekong River for one hour before transfer back to Hotel. Overnight in Phnom Penh
Day 2: PHNOM PENH - CHISO - BATO
Breakfast at hotel. We overland to Takeo province, the Cradle of Cambodian Civilizations and oldest province rich in history relating to the period of Anachak Phnom (Phnom Empire) and Chenla to explore a beautiful mountain-temple Phnom Chiso which was built in 11th century by King Sorayakvarman I. After, we visit the silk weaving village at the foot of the mountain. On the way back, stop and visit Neang Khmau temple. Go on visit to Tonle Bati with two temples are Ta Prohm and Yeay Pov. Afternoon, back to Phnom Penh and leisure at Tuol Tumpong Market (Russian Market). Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 3: PHNOM PENH - KOMPONG THOM - SIEM REAP
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer by private overland to Siem Reap via national road no. 6 on 314km length across Kandal, Kampong Cham and Kampong Thom provinces. we stop at Skun village to experience the popular and traditional food of Skun villagers is Fried Spider. Go on and stop visit the Sculpture Village at Santuk District to see many kinds of stone sculptures which hand-made by villagers. We arrive at Kampong Thom town at noon time. After lunch, we continue visit to the pre-Angkorian temple of Sambo Prei Kuh with more than a hundred temples. The site was a former Khmer Capital Chenla named "Isanapura", built by King Isanavarman I in 7th century. After, we go straight to Siem Reap province on the way of 152km. Arrival town at late afternoon and drop at the hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap
Day 4: SIEM REAP - ANGKOR WAT - ANGKOR THOM
After breakfast, we start exploring the Wonder of the World “Angkor Wat temple” which was built in the early 12th century by King Suryavarman II and is considered as a masterpiece of Khmer architecture.Afternoon, visit the Angkor Thom by starting from South Gate of Angkor Thom, famous giant stone faces Bayon temple which was built in late 12th early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII, Baphuon temple - the huge temple-mountain in the heart of Angkor Thom, Phimean Akas temple and other two Leper King Terrace and Elephant Terrace which were built by King Jayavarman VII in 12th century. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 5:SIEM REAP - BANTEAY SREI - SMALL CIRCUIT
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, we visit to the small and charming Banteay Srei temple – the Citadel of Women which is showcasing the most exquisite, deep and complex carvings in all Khmer architecture. On the way back, we visit another temple – Banteay Samré. Afternoon, continue visit the Small Circuit. The most interested temple in this circuit is Ta Prohm, built in 12th-13th centuries which is covered by growing jungle and vines in many parts. Besides, we visit as well with Banteay Kdei temple, built by King Jayavarman VII during 12th and 13th centuries, the royal bath terrace Sras Srang (the pool of ablutions). Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 6: SIEM REAP - TONLE SAP LAKE - DEPARTURE
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy your trip with traditional wooden boat at Tonle Sap Lake – the Great Lake of Cambodia and biggest in South-east Asia. Over there, you will have opportunity to learn and get experience about life on water in this floating village. Back to the city, leisure yourself at local markets or visit the Artisan D’Angkor workshop to see wood and stone carving before transfer to the airport for departure Flight. End of services.
